Upon completion of the franchise player signing, every team in the league will be entered into a 24 round fantasy draft in order to fill their rosters.
The order will be determined by random selection via Random.org (random.org/lists/). The first round will proceed in the resultant order, with the second round occurring in reverse order. This is to say that the team who drafts first in round one will draft twentieth, i.e. last, in the second round; they will return to first for the third round. All odd numbered rounds will be conducted in the same order as round one, with the even rounds being conducted as the inverse.
There will be a time limit for each selection, and these time limits will be enforced by the Executive Committee.
If someone does not draft a player within their specified time slot, they will receive the player with the highest overall rating available. In instances of more than one player having the same overall rating, the youngest player of the group will be selected.
Time slots will be assigned, posted, and emailed to all managers well in advance of the draft, as the order will be determined prior to franchise signing. This gives managers ample time to prepare for their selection.
In the event where a manager knows that they will not be available for their selection, it is highly recommended that they send a list of players that they would ideal select. The Executive Committee will refer to a manager's list and will only select the best player available when all players off a team's list have been taken. Alternatively managers are welcome to request the best player available by position; in this scenario the Executive Committee will select the best player available at the manager's desired position.
