This was mentioned earlier in the chat, however that's not very official.
You must play four completely distinct forward lines and three completely distinct defensive pairings at all points throughout the season.
Powerplay lines and penalty kill lines follow the same principal; i.e. there is no double-shifting at all, whatsoever.
In the case where a manager wants to utilize seven defenders, all seven defenders must have a place on even-strength lines. Only one double-shifted forward can be used, and it must be on the fourth forward line.
Any manager who does not comply will be reprimanded accordingly.
Note: the fourth defensive pairing can have whoever you so desire in it, and it must be associated with the fourth line. Thus your top three defensive pairings must be distinct.
